Club meetings are held regularly, on the second Saturday of every month, at Imperial College in London. The "second Saturday" meetings have now been going for over 15 years. However, if the second Saturday of April is at Easter the meeting is moved to an adjacent Saturday. 2-day meetings may sometimes be held on other weekends and replace the meeting on the second Saturday. Meetings start around 13:30. All existing and prospective members are welcome.
We meet in the Physics Department (also called the Blackett Laboratory) of Imperial College in South Kensington. The nearest underground station in South Kensington. Follow the signposts in the station to the museums or walk north along Exhibition Road. Turn left along Prince Consort Road. The building is at the end of the road on the corner of Prince Consort Road and Queen's Gate - building 6.
Once in the building go up to level 8. The Physics Common Room is on your left as you get out of the lift. Should you get lost, ask someone for the directions to the Physics Common Room.
If you are unable to get into the building, call 07816 940720 and ask for someone to come down and let you in. There are public payphones near to the building entrances.
